About USA-INDIA ENTREPRENEURS INCORPORATED (USIEI)
The United States and India, two of the world's oldest and largest democracies, have recently embraced one another more warmly, both politically and economically. These broadly improved relations create multiple opportunities for commerce. While large businesses have connected rapidly, small and medium-sized businesses have only begun to develop what promise to be very significant and mutually beneficial ties. US-INDIA Entrepreneurs Incorporated's aim is to facilitate and accelerate the new wave through consulting. We will carefully match American and Indian partners and explain differences in business styles and in culture which might otherwise hinder cooperation.

The concept for US-INDIA Entrepreneurs Inc. was Dial Gidwani's. He noticed the insignificant volume of bilateral transactions by medium and smaller businesses. He sought advice from Indian and American business contacts and got encouragement for his idea from the Kellogg School of Management and the Evanston Chamber of Commerce. Later, several business houses, industrialists, organizations in U.S.A. and India as also Governmental agencies have highly commended the idea
History
Dial Gidwani retired in 1984 after 30 years as an Air India executive, having lived and served in Europe, Japan, Hong Kong, and India. (His native birth and deep international experience equip him especially well as an interpreter of cultures.) He came to the United States in 1984 and settled in the Chicago area. His experience abroad as an airline executive easily converted into a successful travel business, Intra World Travel and Tours (www.intrawld.com), which continues to thrive under his two sons, Anil and Ajay. Anil is a squash professional with an established business of his own (www.squashproshop.com).

Dial and his family became U.S. Citizens in 1990. Dial and his wife, Lakshmi, visit India each year. The Gidwanis have been active in community affairs virtually since their arrival in the U.S. Dial himself founded the American Institute of Sindhlogy (AIS) in 2000 to promote awareness of the ancient civilization of India Sindhu (Indus) Saraswati. AIS is a non-religious, non-political, non-profit organization (www.sindhulogy.org) Lakshmi taught Indian cooking at various institutions in Illinois.

Formed only recently, this new venture has gained considerable popularity with small and medium-sized business in U.S.A. and India.
